Planting the Seed for the Growth of Consciousness
Walking the Path of Life
Welcome to the website of Huachumero Miguel Mendiburu

What we offer:
You’re Not Alone. And I’m Here to Help!
Miguel Mendiburu has been offering sacred healing ceremonies with huachuma for 20 years. He directs his ceremonies in a way that supports participants in remembering what he calls “the real state of the human being”, a state of gratitude, clarity, unity and love. From this state, profound insights are realized that catalyze an evolution of consciousness.
Through the ceremonial space that Miguel creates and the magic of the medicine, freedom from limiting beliefs can be experienced, as well as heart-opening, reconciliation of the past, forgiveness, healing of traumas, and much more! Huachuma is a brilliant teacher, ally, and medicine that addresses dis-ease at the root cause, supporting mental, emotional, physical and spiritual healing.
Miguel’s home base is in the Sacred Valley of Peru, where he offers daytime ceremony hikes at beautiful sacred sites as well as overnight fire ceremonies.

Miguel’s Journey with Huachuma
My journey with huachuma began when I was 17 years old. The experience was something I had been searching for, a state that made more sense, a feeling of deep familiarity. The huachuma experience offered me a new perspective and a way to relate with life from an open heart.
From then I felt a deep call from my inner voice, a call that felt stronger and stronger, telling me that this was my path.
I never lost my connection with this plant medicine, developing this relation with myself. Understanding that the huachuma doesn’t show us anything that is not already in ourselves, and stepping into a life of infinite possibilities, deep teachings and inner growth.
Following this call I found my maestro, and began my training to hold the space for other people in ceremony. I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve the huachuma and the others, this is how I see our purpose in life, to be of service.
It has been almost 20 years now walking this path, ‘the path of no way back’ is how my elders taught me.
Every ceremony is like the first one and each one is the best, once I remember that there is nothing more than the here and now.
I hold ceremonies once a week approx. here in my home, in the sacred valley of the incas in Cusco.
